Before joining CEA in 1993, Bob Berger served as Senior Vice President for 10 years at Cable Investments, Inc., a telecommunications brokerage and investment banking firm in Denver. Prior to these positions he spent 17 years in management at Xerox Corporation.
Bob has provided brokerage and appraisal services to independent and multiple system cable television operators, private cable and wireless companies and mobile communications companies. During the last ten years, he has completed more than 100 transactions valued at more than $500 million.
Bob has appeared on industry panels concerned with valuation, financing and system sales and has been quoted in trade and business publications as a recognized expert in these areas. He is a member of the Independent Cable and Telecommunications Association and currently serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Private Cable & Wireless Magazine.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, with a B.A. in Economics, Bob has done postgraduate study at the University of Baltimore. He is a member of the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. and a registered NASD representative.
