Ming Jung has been with CEA since March 1997 and is the Sr. Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of CEA Capital Advisors, LLC, the development and administration arm of CEA Private Equity Partners.
Ming’s responsibilities include development, financial analysis and administrative oversight with respect to the management of CEA’s domestic and international private equity funds. These include financial management as well as legal, tax and business structuring as it relates to the formation and ongoing activities of the private equity funds.
Ming is also responsible for the financial management of CEA Capital Advisors, LLC. This includes budgeting, cash management, financial reporting and segment reporting responsibilities.
Ming is also involved with CEA’s Direct Investments and has financial reporting and tax reporting responsibilities for CEA’s equity investment portfolio. These responsibilities include financial analysis and due diligence of CEA’s new equity investments, development of offering summaries for potential investments, performance of due diligence and ongoing monitoring of investment performance.
Prior to joining CEA, Ming spent four years with the international accounting firm of Arthur Andersen LLP, most recently as a senior tax specialist. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Ming graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a Master of Accounting degree with a specialization in taxation and with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Ming Jung is a registered representative of the NASD and holds the Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
