John Turner is the Chief Operating Officer of Communications Equity Associates (“CEA”) Investment Banking Group. John has strategic and operational responsibilities within the Investment Banking Group for business development, resource planning, talent management, and other general management and operating activities.
John has spent the last 20 years providing strategic management consulting, technology consulting, and turnaround services to Global 500 and middle market companies. John is a speaker and facilitator whose approach to leveraging emerging business trends, transformation methodologies and technologies inspires growth and innovation. He has enabled numerous companies to achieve a competitive advantage by aligning the required critical success factors to achieve desired business results.
Prior to joining CEA, John was the founder and CEO of Net Infuse, Inc., a company specializing in management consulting and turnaround management for established middle market companies or divisions with strong value potential. During this period, John served as an interim turnaround manager for a $360 million Global 500 North American division increasing revenues by 70% and operating profit by 568% over a three-year period.
Prior to Net Infuse, Inc., John was the founder and CEO of Network InfoServe, Inc. Services included strategic technology consulting, software development and systems integration. Global in scope, prominent customers included: General Electric, MCI, Baker & McKenzie, NationsBank, United Guaranty and NationsBanc Services to name a few. Network InfoServe was recognized in the Inc. 500, Technology 500 and the Suncoast Technology 50.
Prior to his tenure at Network InfoServe, Inc. John was the co-founder and President of Micro Support Inc. Micro Support, Inc. was recognized in the United States as a leader in the LAN/WAN integration category before being sold.
