Javier Ardila joined CEA in August 2007, to work in the origination and execution of mergers & acquisitions and private equity placements for the Latin America group.
Previously Javier worked as a consultant in the International Finance Corporation, advising the firm in Infrastructure and Public Private Partnerships concession processes. Prior to IFC, he worked as an Investment Banking Associate in Corficolombiana a Colombian Investment Banking firm, issuing and structuring corporate bonds and syndicated loans for several large corporations in Colombia.
Javier received an MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business majoring in both Finance and Financial Instruments and Markets and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) majoring Operations Research. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
